Homeboy Sandman is at it again with another collection of curated Hip Hop instrumentals that he spit fire bars over. But the catch is, these are not official songs of his so he technically can’t sell it, hence the title. It’s basically a cool twist on a mixtape 😉 This is the third installment of the “I Can’t Sell These” series and they include some of my favorite Homeboy Sandman treats.
Not only is Sandman’s bars top tier, interesting and creative, his beat selection is also fresh and interesting. I always look forward to the beats he selects and also his approach to those beats. No matter what beat it is, Sandman figures out a way to make it work.
“Nor Can These Be Sold” is full of dope beats (Some you may recognize), All types of Hip Hop quotable’s And best of all, there’s no curses on most of these joints. THIS IS HIP HOP!!
My Favorite Joints (In No Particular Order):
- Heal The Earth – HS shines brightest when he hops on a hype, break beat type joint
- Too Hot – This one takes me back to the days when MTV had fun Hip Hop videos on rotation
- 43 YearOldfinger – Man I wish there was a 2nd verse on this one
- Art – Ok this one I keep coming back to this one. I’mma say this one is my favorite on the album. And as an artist myself this one really resonates with me
- Time To Go – This one is a Masterpiece
- Alchemy – BARZ!!!
