I got some photos sent to me of Carley Kane’s Huffy Elite Pro BMX racing bike from the Grands! If you didn’t already know Huffy Bicycles is getting back into the BMX racing and BMX freestyle game heavy. They Signed Carley Kane at the top of this year as their pro rider and since the summer she’s been testing out some prototype Huffy Elite Pro frames. She was spotted at this year’s USA BMX Grands aboard this decked out Huffy
It looks pretty much the same as the prototype frame Carley has been testing out but this one is looking real nice with that custom paint job.
The rear dropouts have a nice internal chain tensioning system and it looks like there will be adaptors for 10mm, 15mm and 20mm axles. It also looks like the disc brake mounts are adaptors and are not part of this frame and it doesn’t look like there’s v-brake mounts. However there is a cable guide on the seat stay for a disc brake so most likely the production frame will have disc brake mounts.
So far I’m loving what I’m seeing with Huffy’s Elite Pro frame and I can’t wait to see what the production model is gonna look like. Also I’m nut sure what the official name of the frame is gonna be so for now I’m just calling it the Elite Pro Frame. Stay tuned for more updates and let me know what you think about this bike so far.
