Today’s Bike Of The Day is a special one. It’s a 2013 Supercross Envy V3 and it was submitted by James Carter. It’s done in a nice purple and white colorway and features some dope parts! I’m loving the color balance on the bike with the purple frame and all the white parts. Those white wheels really make the bike pop! But what’s really special is James’s story behind the bike and it’s significance. It’s a beautiful story.

Catherine’s BMX – Built from the heart.
Me and my 8 year old daughter built this bike new in 2013.
A few years earlier when she was 5 she had to have a heart operation.
She eventually got the doctors all clear 2 years later to do sport, of course her first request was to race BMX.
We were very reluctant about her racing BMX, but she was raise from birth at a BMX track watching her big brother race, so her insistence to race shouldn’t have come at a surprise.
After a couple of hand me downs she wanted her own bike, so we built the purple SX together, she turned every nut and bolt with me then we raced it turning heads all over Australia.
I will never sell this bike, it symbolises her recovery, years of character building, and some of our happiest and most rewarding days (even the ones with tears). ~James Carter
