It’s 2025 and the final Bike Of The Month competition on SugarCayne.com is over which means it’s time for the December 2024 Bike Of The Month Results! There were 12 bikes that made the list in December but I’m only highlight the top 3 bikes.
Bike #3
2024 Standard 125r OS20 BMX Race Bike
This race bike was done in a two tone blue and purple colorway. The chrome plated parts add a nice contrast to compliment frame’s color which also features chrome graphics. This is a Standard OS20 frame so you already should know that the quality of this frame is top notch! Standard makes some of the best frames in the game and their OS20’s are no less!I like the overall look of the bike. The only thing I might have done different to really make it pop would have been making the rims the same color as the frame
BIKE #2
Vintage BMX Inspired WH-Bradford Mono Shocker 26in
Yep, It’s a Yamaha mono shock inspired, WH-Bradford Mono Shocker 26in BMX cruiser! The frame is completely custom welded and it looks like it’s so much fun to ride. It’s a modern day vintage inspired bike the features a banana seat and two piece, mono shock frame design. The bold yellow, Yamaha colorway with the Yamaha inspired graphics makes this build really pop! I’m really digging that there are some modern features on this bike like disk brakes, tapered headtube and brake levers. I also like the Bottema, “Boosttema” forks for that new vintage style. I’m not sure if these are actual Bottema forks or some custom welded forks since it wasn’t listed in the parts list but either way it looks fresh. And finally I love that he put some big knobby tires on the bike to complete the look. And most of all I love that Mike actually races with it! He brought it to Dirty Fest 2024 and got some fresh photos gets busy on the bike!
BIKE #1
2024 Supercross SX 250 35th Anniversary Prototype
This frame has a lot going on with its color scheme. You have the multi color parts, colorful Supercross graphics between the parts and graphics and chrome plated frame, fork and seat post. I love that classic BMX race bike look with modern day geometry. And this bike has some fun finer details when you take a closer look at it. Big shout out to Josh “Camel Joe” Randall for submitting this bike.
So that’s a wrap for the 2024 Bike Of The Day, month series. Coming soon will be the 2024 Best Of Bike Of The Year episode so stay tuned for that and find out who won. But now, it’s a new year and I’m looking forward to see what bikes get sent and featured in 2025. so Keep submitting those bikes ya’ll!
