The annual Black Enterprise Magazine 40 Under 40 list honors BMX Pro Nigel Sylvester! Nigel’s been making big moves with a list of achievements and business ventures. Big moves like his Go Brand, professional modeling career and his Nigel Sylvester Foundation. Nigel’s Jordan Brand Bike Air sneaker and BMX Bike release was a huge success last year and he still finds time to shred the streets on his bike. He’s one of the most successful BMXers in the game and he did it in his own way.
He stepped outside the box and usual direction most BMX pros go. He’s does not do contest but he does drop some bangers on this Instagram page. Nigel focused more on doing high profile collaborations with major brands and entertainers. His “GO” pov BMX adventure, lifestyle YouTube series was a big hit and opened even more doors. He’s is a true example of young Black leader who’ve achieved remarkable success and driven impactful change in his community and the culture. Big congrats to Nigel and all his success!

Craig Reynolds : Reynolds Racing
Craig “Mr Smooth” Reynolds a legendary BMX racer who was active in the 80’s and 90’s. He owned his own BMX company back in the 90″s called Reynolds Racing. Back then pro BMX bikes were made too short for Craig so he started his own company and built 20″ BMX racing bikes that were more comfortable for taller riders. He was featured on the cover of Black Enterprise magazine at the time. Craig is still an avid cyclist and these days he mostly rides mountain and road bikes.
Jimmy Mac: Bulldog Bikes
Bulldog Bikes Worldwide is a rider owned and operated company that was founded in 1998, by Jimmy “Mac” McNeal. The company was a mix of multiculturalism, which blends the energy and culture of hip-hop & punk rock, with the urban backbone of New York City, along with most importantly the passion and edge of BMX bikes and the riders. Bulldog designed their own line of 20 and 24in BMX frames. They also did collaborations with Toyota, Source Magazine and the Afro Punk festival to name a few. He went one to create Union Square Shoes. Unfortunately, Jimmy Mac passed away due to kidney failure late last year.
