There’s a new BMX game coming out in 2025 that has the potential to shake things up in the action sports video game space. It’s called Street Dogs BMX produced by Yeah Us Games and it looks awesome!!
Yeah Us! was created in 2012 after the founder, Adam Hunt, decided he didn’t want to wait around for someone else to make his dream game. He decided he’d do it himself with help from some developers and artist. You might know about Yeah Us from their popular BMX games, Pumped BMX 1&2, Trail Boss and Pumped BMX Flow. Till this day they are still some awesome games that captured the essence of BMX trail and trick riding.
With the new Street Dogs game, Adam takes everything he learned to create the ultimate BMX street-park video game. What’s really amazing is Adam is 100% self taught with absolutely no formal training. He got his inspiration from actually being a BMX rider and games like Dave Mirra, Tony Hawk and Skate of course . Adam’s actually a street and park rider but he started his journey into BMX game development by doing mobile games. He started with BMX Dirt and trail oriented games because they were an easier barrier to entry for him to develop.
The Street Dogs game is done in 3rd person which is pretty much the industry standard for open world, action sports type of games. It features six huge maps along with hidden spots, handcrafted challenges, and flowing lines! Adam says the amount of lines, and combos you can do on this game is limitless! There are a lot of bike customizations you can do and cool character customizations. like pants, shirt, sneakers, tattoos and piercing’s
I’m loving the graphics and it looks like the controls work good too. I can’t 100% say because I haven’t played it yet. Adam said the controls are blend of arcade and sim style so there will be a little learning curve but once you get the swing of it you can play as true to life or as wild as you want.
