BMX Olympian, Cam Wood dropped some pics of his new 20in Mongoose Title Team build. I’m loving that grey, white and black color scheme on the bike and I’m no even a big fan of the color grey. Could this possibly be the new 2025 color for Mongoose Title Team? I think it would pretty dope if they did that.
Other cool features on this bike are the Beringer Cranks, Box seat and post combo and a upside down 31.8 Box top load stem. Cam is also rocking Box forks and Tioga Powerblock tires. It looks like Cam is running a Remix wheel set on his bike and I’m digging the gold spoke nipples.
It looks like there’s a slight change to the frame where the seat stay, seat tube and top tube meet. The seat stays are now reaching past the seat tube onto the top tube. That will increase the stiffness and strength in that area. It also looks like the down tube is a little bigger than the previous model. You can see in the front that the top tube and down tube are welded together to make a little gussett for added strength. The the last thing that looks a little different is the chain stay doesn’t taper as much heading to the rear drop out like the previous model.
Oh I forgot to point out one big difference! This bike has V-Brakes!! What’s that about? I’m thinking this must be a Title Elite, not a Title Team. I’m just realizing this as I was updating the article lol!! I’m assuming the Title Team frames aren’t ready yet so Cam will be riding this one until the new Team frames are done…..at least that’s my guess.
