And so it begins! The 2nd Velosolution pump track to ever be built in New York will break ground in Saratoga soon. It’s the first Velosolution pump track to be built in Upstate NY and the first permanent one in NY. There are possibly three more in the works for NY…very early stages though. Lets hope they all become a reality. Construction begins on April 28th and the track should be open this summer.
Brooklyn Bike Park was the first ever Velosolutions pump track built in New York. It was also the first one built in the United States. Unfortunately is was only built temporarily and it’s been gone for several years. So it’s awesome to hear that a new Velosoutions pump track is coming back to New York.
This is only phase 1 of a larger project for the space which will includes a bicycle playground and jump line once the funds are raised.
