The 2018 Pure V5 BMX racing frame is looking real good! The frame is crafted from the highest quality 6061 series aluminium with the latest in hydroforming technology put in them! The hydroforming Pure used on the V5 created shapes that maximize the performance of every tube to give it the best performance on the track. The head tube is CNC machined and the frame has one of the most technically advanced bottom bracket shell and 3D dropouts!! Even the large, stiff chainstays are Hydroformed to reduce the power lost through the frame when pedaling.
We’re also loving the colorway of the 2018 V5’s. Their going with a black frame with sky blue decals…..yes we know the Haro Citizen comes in the same colorway but it just looks so gooooood!! 😉
Below are some new features of the 2018 V5 Frame:
-New bottom bracket with increased outside diameter.
-Increased weld area around bottom bracket creating a stiffer junction.
-New chainstays increasing rear end stiffness.
-Increased tyre and chainring clearance allowing up to a 52t chainring to be used.
-New double butted down tube to reduce weight and keep stiffness.
-New decals and graphics for 2018.
-Stock colours Black & Silver.
