The legendary Haro Group 1 RS-1 makes it’s return this year with an new, modern day design but with its classic colorway! This new rendition of the RS-1 is made special for all the trail shredders out there to get busy on. Some of the things we love about this bike is the frame, fork and bars are 100% chromoly, the bars are 9″ rise, the classic Haro sprocket design, the 1978 parts and of course the classic colorway!. The only thing we wish they did was make a longer top tube option
Peep the stats:
- 100% chromoly frame (21″ Top Tube) with integrated head tube, MID BB shell, welded seat clamp, removable brake and cable mounts and 21″ top tube length
- 100% chromoly fork with internal threaded 1 piece CNC steer tube, tapered legs and 5mm dropouts
- 100% chromoly bars 9″ with Haro Lineage CNC alloy top load stem
- Haro 1978 3-piece chromoly 8-spline 175mm cranks with Haro Team Disc 28T CNC alloy bolt drive sprocket and sealed Mid BB
- Fully sealed wheels with Haro Sata double-wall alloy rims, alloy shell sealed hubs with 14mm rear axle and 9t driver
- Haro La Mesa tires 2.4″ front and rear
- Haro Lineage padded Pivotal seat with alloy Pivotal post
- Haro 1978 plastic pedals
- Haro Team grips
- Haro 1978 alloy brakes with hinge clamp lever
- Weight 25.2lbs
It’s so cool to see modern day frames with the classic colorways from the past and Haro has some of the most iconic colorways from the 80’s. Haro is definitely doing it right with their Lineage series. This bike is part of the 2019 Haro Bicycles “Lineage” line of completes.
