Supa emcee Napoleon Da Legend dropped some new treats with his latest album Chikara. All I have to say is this album is FIRE!! Dope boom bap beats, fresh samples and sick super lyrical bars, that’s the perfect HipHop ingredients for me. All the beats were cooked up by Onion Cuore and man did he lace NDL with treats!! Neck cracking beats all day!
There are only a select few of HipHop artist that I stop everything I’m doing to listen to. NDL is one of them. Chikara is a perfect example on why you should too.
The album featured 10 solid joints. All the songs on this project are fire!!! But if I had to pick my top 3, it would be Get Richer, The Process and Calculated Strike(I love Nejma Nefertiti’s Bars in this joint).
About Chikara:
Venturing into yet another chamber in my journey, I bring you my latest album “Chikara”, which mean “strength” in Japanese. I linked up with a recluse, unplugged from the music game matrix, Italian producer Onion Cuore who shares the same deep passion for Japanese culture and anime as I do. He has a array of beats sampling Japanese soundtracks, which inspired me to do an album with him. This project features Crazy DJ Bazarro, Supreme Cerebral, Nejma Nefertiti, NapsNdreds, Sicknature, Hubbs, DJ TMB & Toney Boi.
