Bespoke sneaker designer Ceeze teamed up with North Carolina-based aircraft recycler Aircraft Solutions USA Inc. to reconstruct the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 “The Ten” with airplane trash.
Aircraft Solutions provided scrap material from a set of Lufthansa seats for Ceeze to craft 12 pairs of sneakers. The new creations maintain much of Virgil Abloh’s original design and they feature a white patent leather toe box and quarter panel contrasted by grey seat leather. There’s also hand-painted yellow edging and a 3M Swoosh.
What makes these kicks even cooler is Ceeze, Crep Protect, DJ Skee and jeffstaple have come together to raffle off a single pair of the kicks with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the NAACP’s legal defense fund and the Philando Castile Foundation. For a $5 USD donation, you can enter for a chance to win a pair of these kicks, valued at $3,500 USD.
Visit ceezemc.com to make a donation and enter the raffle, which will close on Monday, June 22, at 6 p.m. EDT.
