A fully restored 1996 Morales BMX Flatland bike is today’s Bike Of The Day! It was submitted by Joshua and he did an awesome job of bringing this classic back to life. I’m always excited to see flatbike submissions to the site because that’s what Bike Of The Day is all about. Showcasing all types of BMX builds.

It was my childhood dream to have a Morales Flatland bike built with lots of high end parts. I was not able to afford the bike back then and getting parts import to Singapore was not easy especially order from Dan’s and etc without internet at that time. The wheel set was sold to me by Mark Eaton in mid 2017. I took 5 years to compile all the necessary parts (some are brand new) and all fully restored before assemble. The frame with fresh powder coat and the artwork work are not decal. They were stenciled before a 2K clear coat applied over the frame. I also custom bearing cup of the headset to run modern integrated headset as the head tube was old school 1inch. It took me total of 25 years to have my dream come true. I want to take this opportunity to thank my friend Jeffrey Yap who did the stencil artwork and top coat of the frame, and custom the bearing cups and machine the shim for me to run a 25.4mm seat post. Lastly I wanna thank my friend Box who help me to get the Kore Pegs. I hope U can feature my bike in Ur YouTube so that this beauty is shown to the world as Morales is well known to the flatland community around the globe especially in the mid 90s.
