Bike Of The Day: Lou’s 1981 Mongoose Kos Kruiser

We’re starting the year off right with this 1981 Mongoose Kos Kruiser for today’s Bike Of The Day! It was another nice build submitted by Lou Genitempo. I’ve always loved the classic chrome and blue color scheme. Make sure you give this bike a rating for the Bike Of The Month and Bike Of The Year charts.

I recreated my “1985 Mongoose Californian Special” decided to recreate my 20” from 1985 into a 26” fro Kos frame/ fork. This is the bike Mongoose should have offered in mid 80s in my opinion. ~Lou Genitempo

• NOS 42 Tooth Sugino “Crown” Chainring
• NOS Blue SR SP-468 Pedals
• 1985 M1 Vented Seat
• Rest of goodies are repops , brakes, pad set, decal set, grips, tires, seat clamp.
