UK BMX and track legend Shanaze Reade returns with her own BMX academy! The 9x BMX and track world champion is giving back to the community with her clinics and life lessons as it relates to the sport. Reade’s academy is not just open to pro and expert riders, it’s also open to the public. Shanaze says she wants the SR Academy to be a feeder hub, offering everyone the chance to benefit from the same opportunities that helped her grow.
SR Academy held it’s first BMX coaching clinic on March 1st at the Shanaze Reade BMX Track in Crewe to much success! They had 4x World champion Romain Mayet as a special coach. And I’m sure it’s just gonna grow from there. So now the big question is, will we see Shanaze competing on the track again? That would be awesome! Stay tuned!
I’m beyond proud and excited to announce my return to BMX – the sport that gave me so much and continues to shape my life in ways I never imagined. But this isn’t just about joining another BMX team or leaving a legacy. This is about something much bigger.
