Today’s Bike Of The Day is a 2013 Prophecy Scud EVO BMX racing bike! I’m loving that custom translucent red colorway. You have to take a 2nd and 3rd look at it to really see what’s going on with that paint job which is really coo. And that custom seat with IT on it will have me standing up all the time on that bike lol! Big shout out to Andrew Koehn for submitting this one!

I bought this frame from my team owner Jeff Hinkle of Reject Racing out of Wichita ks. (His supercross build was hated pretty good in bike of year last year). It had been spray painted over multiple times and was scratched pretty good. So I found Ryan at MidCoat Customs in Automotive and Paint in Derby Kansas. He had no problem working with carbon fiber. I told him I wanted a one of a kind red and black color way. And he said he had an idea in mind. That guy is a genius! He got it done in time for my son to ride it at grands and come in 7th. I ended up chipping the paint pretty deep on the bike rack and took it back to Ryan. He repaired the chip put a new paint job on it and left some of the old ripping out because I loved it so much. I found the awesome seat that fit right in from Chris Urner. He hand made that and I believe it was hard for him to let it go to me but I talked him out of it. To me this bike screams Rad. And we started calling it the monster. ~Andrew Koehn
