It looks like the folks at DC saw the incredible success that Marvel has been having with their mashup/team movies and decided to get in on the fun!  It was announced yesterday during a Waner Bros. panel at The San Diego Comic Con that Henry Cavill, the star of this summer’s Man of Steel, will reprise the role of Superman in a sequel that will also feature Batman. Man of Steel director Zack Snyder will be directing the follow-up as well. The movie is expected to drop in 2015. I saw this coming and I’m excited 4sho!
There’s no official word on Christian Bale being cast for this film as of yet but that would be dope if he did reprise his roll too.
