Illustration: "Slippage" Limited Edition Screenprint by Patrick Wong

I love the way illustrator Patrick Wong mashed up these iconic music artist with some of the most infamous fictional characters in his “Slippage” Screenprint!

“The screenprint illustrates a group of four familiar faces mixed with four fictional characters in Patrick Wong’s signature brush and ink style. The piece is the result of a drawing constraint that combined the image of a real person with one from fiction such as comics, movies, and video games. “Slippage” collects four of the most successful of these drawings to include: KRS One/Zombies, Bjork/Dr. Doom, J Dilla/Spawn, and Jay-Z/Venom.”

Now I think Bjork is cool but it would have been better if Patrick would have used another emcee or HipHop producer to round out the pic. Maybe Q-Tip or Common…..oh nah Rakim!! Rakim or Chuck D would’ve taken this pic over the top 4sho!! Either way it’s still really dope illustration.

The piece is a nice size, it measures 18″ x 24″ and as you can see it’s a 3 color print. Is done on a acid-free 100# white cover stock and the limited prints are a signed and numbered, 45 pics in total.
