I got tagged on a photos of these Adidas Gazelle’s with a clipless cleat and I thought Adidas was actually making some cool cycling shoes. But after a little diggin it turns out that there’s a Santa Cruz based company called RetroFitz that makes custom clipless adapters for any sneaker or shoe! It’s funny because I was recently talking about BMX Racing shoe sponsors and someone brought up how clips ruined that sponsorship avenue for BMX racers. The Retrofitz adaptors could help be a game changer when it comes to shoe sponsorship’s in BMX racing. Now you can take any kicks you want and have RetroFitz make one for your or you can purchase their DIY kit and do it yourself. Basically now the sky’s the limit for all you die hard clipped in BMX racers that are looking for more sponsorship or footwear style options. I guess now the question is, how do they perform in BMX racing conditions.
I would love to hear your comments and opinions on this below(That’s right don’t run back to facebook and comment on my post there, support this site and comment right here please 🙂 )
