In my daily search for dope new HipHop music to post on this site I came across this animated video by one of the most important emcee of our day Talib Kweli called “State Of Grace”. Now you should already know when Talib drops a new song it’s gonna HipHop dopeness or at the very least worth a listen and “State Of Grace” exceeded that expectation to the next level. Lyrically Talib doesn’t hold his tongue on his opinion of the current state of HipHop, Rap, the black community and how our sisters are treated within it. This is some of the realest lyrics I’ve heard in a while and I’ve heard a lot of real lyrics 4sho, it’s well written indeed! On the hook Talib enlisted the amazing vocal talents of Abby Dobson and she fit the song perfectly! And I absolutely love the beat, it’s sick! The animated visuals are awesome as well….. THIS IS HIPHOP!!
