Shanaze Reade (@ShanazeReade) Smokes Roadies On A BMX Bike Uphill

Red Bull is always coming up with and sponsoring some really cool cycling events and their recent event called Hill Chasers is another addition to their portfolio of cycling event dopeness! All around cycling pro Shanaze Reade took her BMX bike to battle a bunch of bike racers from all disciplines for an uphill battle in Edinburgh, Scotland for this unique event. To make a long story short Shanaze blazed up the hill with a serious sprint and won the main by a mile beating some of the best MTB, fixed gear, and many other riders. There was a BMX style starting gate so you already know Shanaze was gonna have a sick start. It was a wrap after that nobody even came close to the BMX champion. FYI Michal Prokop won in the men’s finals..He’s an ex BMXer 🙂 This is a really good look for BMX and BMX racing. If the other riding disciplines didn’t respect 20″ BMX bikes before I’m sure they do now.
