I love it when the first HipHop joint that I search for to post on the site is a banger and this new joint by my Chi-Town peeps The Ol’ Days called 1979 just made my day! I love the beat crafted by Ki Of NC, the vibes on that joint is so sick, That strings sample is fire! Ol’ Days always drop tight bars and in this joint they talk about their upbringing and being born in 1979. I also love the visuals, it’s put together really good. Ya’ll need to hear this one, THIS IS HIPHOP!!
This marks the year anniversary of the Ol’ Days’ first LP 1979 dropping
on Jan. 11th of 2014. It was a very eventful year from opening up for
big acts to collabs and overseas connects but above all we stayed
moving forward. 1979 was the first track on the album but the most
heartfelt as both members give their vivid memories of coming up born
