Norwegian 8 piece multi-instrumental band Jaga Jazzist dropped some musical mastery with this Todd Terje remix to their song “Oban”. The remix was dropped to get ya’ll amped for the June 2nd release of Jaga Jazzist latest album Starfire via Ninja Tune. Now the original version of “Oban” hasn’t dropped yet…well at least I couldn’t find it online. I think that’s a pretty cool twist…”Drop the remix first then drop the album to hear the original”..Nice!!
Anyways I’m loving this instrumental track. It’s got a blend of all types of music I like with it’s HipHop break beat style drum pattern, electronic synth sounds and smooth new age jazz chords and sounds not to mentions some really nice changes. This great traveling music to vibe out too 4sho!
