The folks at Speedco just stepped it up times 1000 with the release of their new carbon frame called the Velox! The stealth black frame looks mean, clean and fast and we can’t wait to see one in person. Peep all the stats below as seen on Speedcobicycles.com
“Without further ado, we’re so stoked to introduce to you the Speedco Velox carbon. This is the first build, and although we don’t have a scale on hand for the complete, we can tell you the raw frame (21″) is 2.8lbs. It features a BB86 shell, 73mm to 65mm massive tapered down-tube, tapered head tube, internally routed cable, and a 15mm dropout with integrated chain tensioner. This is the Pro XL, and it will also be available in Pro and Pro XXL (20.5 & 21.75) in November. Closely following the pro models will be the smaller version of the carbon in Junior, Expert, and Expert XL which are 18.5″, 19.25″ and 20″ top tubes. Retail on these frames is around $1100.00, and will be available in three different colorways to start. We’ll post a sample of the graphic packages soon.
Massive thank you to Gus at Profile Racing for the stem & hubs as well as Leo at Shimano for the DXR group, thanks also to the boss man Kirk for his detailed aesthetic suggestions with the design of this beauty. I’ll be on it this weekend in Las Vegas so come check it out! -DB44
