2 days ago Team USA’s BMX Women’s Olympic finalist Brooke Crain took to Instagram for a quick video thanking everyone for all the positive vibes and support in her journey to the Rio Games. She also talks about how getting a 4th at the Rio Olympics stinks “just a little bit” but she IS proud of her performance and all the effort she put forth to make it this far.
And we are proud of her too!!Brooke came in the top 10 in the seeding(Time Trials), came in 2nd in the semi finals and pulled a 4th in the finals! This was against the the fastest women BMXer’s in the world. This was also her 2nd appearance at the Olympics which is a great achievement in its self. But most importantly she handled herself as a true professional by gracefully accepting defeat and for that, she get’s “Role Model Status” from us!!
