The Iconic late great J Dilla is still giving us neck cracking HipHop treats from heaven with this latest release “old Donuts”. The instrumental album is a compilation of rare, remixed and unreleased dilla beats which were mostly recorded around 2005. There’s a bunch of familiar Dilla beats and loops in there such as an unfinished version of his classic “MC Squared” beat. It’s 23 tracks of boom bap HipHop dopeness, we’ll be rocking this one all day!
Although we love all the joints on this project, the beat we keep coming back to is track #22 “Prince”, it’s so addictive!
