The creative team at Vans teamed up with men’s footwear and clothing store Off The Hook to hook up its iconic Mid Skool ’77 LX with a new steeze. The inspiration for these kicks… a tribute to Montréal Canada!! Their calling it the “Deli Edition” since the sneakers are designed with the inspiration from the popular Montréal Smoked Meat Sandwich. The “Deli Edition” features a burgundy leather upper, a premium leather heel counter and toe box in a lighter shade of burgundy, rye bread-inspired brown leather stripe, white mid sole and of course waffle sole which comes in a mustard yellow. Each pair of the “Deli Edition” comes with three sets of laces; mustard yellow, mayonnaise white, and coleslaw green…nice!!
