I usually don’t give my personal rating for the Bike Of The Day features myself but for this one I had to make an exception! This bike looks amazing!!

STOP IT‼️ your killing me!!!!!! It’s one of these, I got one hand 🖐🏼 up and my other hand is waving for more HAHAHA‼️ . This is a 1st for me. If it’s been done on a production bike before, I haven’t seen it…….and man – it looks so good. I understand it’s an advertisement piece so the straight Daylight parts list is understandable. Usually I like verity but that’s not what this is. NO, this is one of those pictures on a wall bikes that you put in your locker next to the swimsuit models. If this isn’t deserving of crossed arms and a Kangol nod, then I don’t know what is. That’s F R E S H‼️

Word this one is FIIIIIRRRREEEE!!! I think it gets raced and that’s a good thing! I would definitely love to see it in action.

AGREED…..a cowboy hat would do this Tennessee Stud justice FO SHO!!!!!! Haha I love it man AND I too would be a lil hesitant to get this thoroughbred dirty. Hahaha 😂 – I wanna say that I think it’s next level cool that you got yourself one. It’s in the right hands. You’ve been a personality on SUGARCAYNE since the beginning as far as I know and definitely a motivator for me and the rest of the 50+’s. I recently re-watched that Chesapeake piece you did in 2023 and I too am someone who got back into BMX because of SUGARCAYNE and now I find myself having to get some daily…LOL. And just like that, ANOTHER dope pair of kicks. Now I really like these. The color choices on this particular pair is far out and I would rock these without a doubt. What is really cool about sk8 shoes (and this is what my youngest boy has noticed & showed me) is that in the past several years they have invested more into the interior of the shoes, bigger arches and better insoles (but sk8 insoles have been a thing for a while) it’s even a separate business. I just thought that was cool because I grew up wearing sk8 shoes and the inside of the Airwalks / Vision / Vans /DC’s and ALL of the rest of the early whirly kicks were f-l-a-t flat hahahaha and I have flat feet. Of course it wasn’t till I learned a thing or two about my duck feet that I finally started wearing shoes with arch support, hey what do ya know – it feels better, go figure LOL. Anyway LAKAI has done it again with these styleē kicks fo sho‼️

I gotta be straight with you all, I have no idea how these cats don’t just catapult themselves over their bars more often than not LOL….. I mean this is some crazy stizzuff. Even the curriers hustling on the streets of NYC , bobbin N weevin on their fixies. That blows my mind and always has. If you noticed when they are riding at the sk8 park they keep doing endos on the flat to setup their pedals like it’s second nature to them. That was cool when I noticed that. Riding street isn’t hard enough so let’s do it on a fixed gear is basically what these people said. Very cool.

Flatland Bikes……. These babies are different. I know I’m gonna fudge this thought of mine but I’m going to try anyway. All bicycle disciplines have the right bike for the job. BMX racing has a frame and parts specific for racing and street riding has a frame and parts specific for street riding and so on. Now this is only my opinion so bear with me, but for the most part when talking about 20 & 24” BMX framed bikes they are basically the same (excluding a couple carbon race frames) …. Basically. BUT FLATLAND bikes are a whole different beast. If your a flatland rider , you have the right tool for the job and that’s not a 1990 PK RIPPER (that was the bike of the day a few weeks ago – be sure to rate it for bike of the month) hahahaha …. NO , your going to have something like this mammy jammy so that your able to lead it into each and every maneuver like the perfect dance partner. Flatland bikes are fascinating to look at and when you do, it instantly becomes clear that these bikes are made for a different reason and if you’re not someone who knows then you are someone that looks and looks only to leave scratching your head. They are the perfect dance partner for the incredibly rad and intense to watch athletes that are capable of such a dance. I see bike frames as works of art, and flatland frames are some the most beautiful. Stay Rad everybody and remember to keep your tires in the air.🤙🏼

I think this is fun, unique and stylish all in one. Hubs are a major player when it comes to what makes a bike cool and I’m surprised more of this uniqueness hasn’t been adopted by more manufacturers with the means to do so with the CNC machines at their disposal. It’s safe to say it comes down to the all mighty greenback. It really is something that stands out on any bike I look at for the first time, I look it over and ALWAYS, I zoom in on the wheel to see what hubs it’s rockin. Haha. Its rad to me when I see a manufacturer put something out that they felt was a bit edgy like Profiles cat eye’s, it tells me they are at least trying new stuff not to be mistaken for signature cutouts like we see onyx doing or gt’s classic mohawk hub. I think Armour is blasting out the gate with these and I hope it takes them far. The design is wild & eye catching, new and it’s definitely F R E S H!!!!! so I’m diggin it and the non-threaded section of the bolt is a very nice touch. 🤙🏼
