I like and wear Birkenflops, and the front has always been “a thing” for me. It’s because of the front and these sneakers actually enhance this aspect of Birkenstocks that I’m not a fan of. I own pair of Danner hiking boots that I absolutely love. So much so, that I bought a second pair. Point is , the front is unique in its own way ( like the Birks) and my nephew once asked me “Uncle Brian, ARE THEY SPECIAL SHOES” hahahahahahahahahaLOL and ever since then, I think about that every time I put my Birkenflops on. Ahh man…. I laugh every time I think of him asking that. Anyway, I love Birkenstock shoes, I just don’t know if I’d get these. I don’t dislike them.
