Sugar Cayne Newbridge 26 Inch BMX Frame RAW

Expanding off the 20 and 24 inch Sugar Cayne anniversary BMX frames, I decided to make a 26 inch BMX frame! I’ve always wanted to get a bigger bike to shred on and since I now design BMX bikes, I decided to design one for me. And the rest is history lol!

The Design:

I wanted to keep all my frame designs in the same family so I used the same tubing on the front end. The down tube has the same bend near the headtube like the other frames. The top tube is longer than the average 26in BMX. Chain Stay comes in a relatively short 16″ and bottom bracket is a tall 13.4in. I wanted to give this “cruiser” a more “BMX” feel.

One thing that separates this frame from most of the 26in BMX frames is the dropout is 14mm. This gives you the option of running 14mm street hubs which are stronger for peg support or you can get a 14mm-10mm adapter to run standard hubs

It’s definitely designed to feel right at home whether your racing, hitting the bike parks, razing it up for blocks or just cruising around town. You’ll have to ride it to see what I mean.

Most of the raw frames will be custom painted and stickered by me but I’m made one raw frame available for customization.

THE NAME:

I always thought naming a BMX frame after Newbridge Road BMX would be so cool! Newbridge was the track I first started racing at. It was the only BMX racing track in Nassau County and one of only two tracks in all of Long Island. The track closed down in the late 80’s and unfortunately is now a dog park. But the BMX roots of Newbridge Road BMX lives on with the Sugar Cayne Newbridge Pro26.
